To the Polish Society of Oriental Art belong:

1. ordinary members
2. supporting members
3. honorary members

A natural person having full capacity to legal proceedings and not deprived of public rights, who accepts the statutory aims of the PSOA and whose research or curator’s work are related to Oriental art, or a person who in any other way wants to help the PSOA realise its aims, can become an ordinary member.

To the PSOA can also belong a foreign citizen, supporting the PSOA and realising its aims, whether living in Poland or outside Poland's borders.

A natural person helping the PSOA realise its aims, or a research or cultural institution, having similar to the PSOA aims, can become a supporting member. An institution which declared to support the PSOA financially, with works or publications, or by working for the PSOA, cooperates with the PSOA through its representative.

To supporting members (the Youth Section) can also belong a student from the departments related to research and curatorship over Oriental art.

Persons from whose work the PSOA has benefited the most become honorary members.

To become an ordinary or supporting member you have to submit to the Board a filled-in membership declaration, stating the will to become a member and the kind of membership. Resolution to accept a candidate to the PSOA will be passed by the Board after consulting it with the Approval Commission.
